The "shock and awe" phase of the Iraq war has just ended and the search for weapons of mass destruction is getting started. Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) is the leader of a team tasked with tracking down leads and investigating possible places that they could be hidden. After repeatedly being given solid intelligence about WMD sites that turned out to be incorrect, he starts to get frustrated and begins to question the origin of the intelligence. Initially, he is simply brushed off, but as he gets more persistent then it seems like people are taking an active interest in preventing his investigation.

I generally enjoyed this movie, although it had a bit more of a political message than I typically like, particularly toward the end. From the trailer I had expected it to be more of a Bourne-like movie than it really was, but while watching it I was reminded a lot of the HBO movie Live from Baghdad about the first gulf war. It's not a new subject, but there was a decent amount of action, and I liked the performances given by Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear.
